Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Robotron MB (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes personal data when you visit our website, create an account, use the Robotron control panel, IDE extensions, macOS application, APIs, or related services (collectively, the “Service”).

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Lithuanian law.

1. Data controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

  • Legal name: Robotron MB
  • Company code: 307693994
  • Location: Lithuania (Baltic States), Europe
  • Website: https://www.robotron.app

Official company details are published on Rekvizitai.lt — Robotron MB. For privacy-related enquiries, see the About us & contact page.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

  • Account data: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and account preferences;
  • Early-access and contact requests: name, email address, and the message you submit;
  • Billing data: payment-related identifiers and transaction records processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card numbers);
  • Service and technical data: server and virtual-host configuration, deployment logs, SSH key metadata, repository connection tokens, domain orders, IP addresses, and similar operational records needed to run the Service;
  • Customer content: code, files, and other material you upload or deploy through the Service;
  • Usage and diagnostic data: actions in the panel, API calls, error logs, and security-related events;
  • Website analytics: on www.robotron.app, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage (see Section 8).

You may choose to connect third-party accounts (for example Git hosting providers). Data received from those services is processed to provide the features you enable.

3. How we use personal data

We use personal data to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • Create and manage your account;
  • Provision hosting, deployments, domains, and related infrastructure;
  • Process payments and fulfil orders;
  • Respond to enquiries, early-access requests, and support needs;
  • Send service-related notices (for example security alerts or billing confirmations);
  • Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and protect the security of the Service;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

We rely on the following legal bases, as applicable:

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing necessary to provide the Service you request;
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): securing the Service, preventing fraud, improving features, and communicating about your account — balanced against your rights;
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): retaining records required by tax, accounting, or other law;
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): where required, for example optional marketing or non-essential cookies — you may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only when necessary to operate the Service, with parties such as:

  • Cloud and infrastructure providers (for example server hosting);
  • Payment processors (for example Stripe);
  • Domain registrars and DNS providers;
  • Git platform providers you connect;
  • Email and notification delivery services;
  • Analytics providers (Google Analytics on our public website);
  • Professional advisers or authorities when required by law.

These recipients act as processors or independent controllers under their own policies. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Specific retention periods may vary by data type and legal requirements.

When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it, unless we must retain it by law.

7. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encryption in transit where supported, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and SSH keys.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our website and panel use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as authentication, session management, and security (for example CSRF protection).

On www.robotron.app, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to collect aggregated statistics about page visits and interactions. Google may process IP addresses and device information under its own privacy policy. You can limit analytics through browser settings, opt-out tools provided by Google, or ad-blocking extensions.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectify inaccurate data;
  • Erase data in certain circumstances;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing;
  • Data portability where applicable;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt) or your local supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, contact us using the options on our About us & contact page. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acknowledgement of the updated policy, subject to applicable law.
